July is National UV Awareness Month
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States. What causes skin cancer? Ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun are the main cause of skin cancer. UV damage can also cause wrinkles and blotchy skin. UV radiation can also come from tanning booths or sunlamps. Anyone can get skin cancer.
